Housing Project para sa Yolanda Victims, maanomalya ayon sa isang mambabatas

Ibinunyag ni Negros Occidental Rep. Alfredo “Albee” Benitez na may milyun-milyong pisong iregularidad sa housing projects na ginagawa para sa mga biktima ng Bagyong Yolanda.

Ayon kay Benitez, ang mga itinatayong housing units ay ginamitan ng substandard na construction materials.

Ito anya ang lumalabas sa pagdinig ng House Committee on Housing and Urban Development na hawak ng mambabatas.

Ani Benitez, ang contractors na kinuha ng gobyerno ay kumuha pa ng hindi kwalipikadong sub-contractors para gawin ang ilang housing units.

Nais naman ni Leyte Rep. Vicente S. Veloso na panagutin ang mga sangkot sa proyekto dahil sa hindi pagsunod ng mga ito sa project standards.

Ani Veloso, maaaring maharap sa kasong estafa at paglabag sa anti-graft and corrupt practices act ang mga taong may kinalaman sa housing project.
