At the Victorias City Hall, Cong. Albee Benitez together with Victorias Mayor Francis Frederick Palanca joined the signing of the Perpetual Right to Use Agreement for the donation of the 10-hectare lot by the Canetown Development Corporation, a subsidiary of the Victorias Milling Company, as relocation area for informal settler families of Victorias City. Leading the signing are VMC president Eduardo Concepcion and CDC president Roy Hautea. The donation is part of their corporate social responsibility program.

Cong. As chair of the House Committee on Housing and Urban Development, he noted that this development will provide government to design and plan for a viable and sustainable community that will include basic services and facilities for residents.

Mayor Palanca and Cong. Albee Benitez thanked CDC and VMC for the perpetual right to use agreement, as both underscored the mutually beneficial partnership for continuous community development. Witnessing the signing are the members of the Victorias City Council, Punong Barangays and the city department heads.
